Who are you?
Régis Medina is one of the pioneers of agile software development. In the late 2000s he gradually turned to lean as both a learning system and a company-wide strategy. Today, he works with the CEOs of fast-growing startups who have chosen to scale rapidly by accelerating the pace of learning throught their organizations. He is a member of the French Lean Institute and author of several lean books including Learning to Scale, Apprendre à apprendre avec le Lean and Raise the Bar.
What do you do for a living?
I help CEO and C-levels accelerate the growth of their companies by aligning the specific learning path of each employee with the overall economics of their business. I also lead training programs to help leaders adopt the Thinking People System as a day-to-day management framework.
What are you going to talk about at FlowCon?
I am going to talk about how CTOs and VPs of Engineering can change the physics of their software development efforts by learning how to accelerate the learning of each developer in their teams.
