Hello everyone. We are delighted to welcome you to this new edition of the Flokon France conference and we hope you will spend two totally awesome days with us.
[00:00:16]
So, uh, Flokon is a conference whose theme is really centered around flow culture, workflow, team autonomy, and value production in flow. So we can say it's an agile conference but in a very, very broad sense, we are agnostic and we are proud of it. This year, we have the immense joy of sharing with you a very rich program which includes 37 sessions, led by 46 speakers of multiple nationalities. Broken down according to our usual track, namely we will have two keynotes. A series of conferences and a workshop on everything related to flow in a very broad sense. Four conferences, two workshops, rather focused again on a broad conception of the product. Tech being part of our DNA, we are also very proud to present six conferences and a very nice workshop. And I'm not the other, I take responsibility for it, and I'm not the one who does it. And we also have a sustainable track where we're going to talk about Green IT, but not only that, supported by four conferences.

We do, however, have a last-minute program change, a speaker, Albin Wagner, who is ill. So his session, which was scheduled for today at 3 p.m. in the Limite Wiip room, which focused on the company, a political field like any other, will be replaced by a session on risk management in agile mode.
[00:01:50]
And this session will be hosted by Anne, as a backup.

You want to do the small budget.

Okay. Among the things that are also important to us is transparency. Flokon France, it's a, it's a conference, sorry, that is entirely run by an associative structure, and it's something we are proud of. So we are a 1901 law association, when in France, and every year we share the financial structure of the event for maximum transparency. The cost per place is 350 €. So that includes all the services rendered, the venue, video capture, the caterer. It's the complete cost. This year, we are a little over 350 people gathered for this event. We sold a little over 230 tickets, including last-minute tickets, like last night, and thank you to these people. And thank you to these people. We usually have, well, as I told you, 47 speakers, so about fifty speakers. We have about 50 places that were purchased by our sponsors. And we are, between the organizers, the D-day volunteers, and a few guests, about twenty people. In terms of revenue, this year we collected €145,000. 70% of which comes from ticket sales. Through ticketing, invoicing for companies, or the volume purchased via sponsoring. And we have a, we benefit from 30% funding from sponsors. So sponsors, who, as you can guess, play an essential role in maintaining this conference and its sustainability. Thank you very much sponsors. We're talking about revenue, but we're also going to present our expenses. The main expenditure item, but this is a classic for conferences, especially Parisian ones, is simply the venue. So the rooms we're using today at the Beffroi de Monrouge, uh, that's what costs us the most. Then comes, again in a completely classic way, the caterer. We are a little over 350 people, we are in France. It's important to eat well. And we are sensitive to it. One of the characteristics of the conference is that all non-Parisian speakers are reimbursed for their expenses and accommodated by the conference. So that, in turn, generates a cost item for the speakers that is quite different from that of other conferences you can see in France. And the last point, well, it's logistics. In logistics, there is typically video capture, which will allow you to find the videos of these conferences online.

Some information that might be useful to you. First, it's the WiFi because we all know it, it's a basic need. You have a WiFi called "le Beffroid" which is open, which is generally of good quality, do not hesitate to connect to it. We also have a tradition around books, let's say that in the team, we are several big, even very big readers, and we love to share the readings that have marked us. So, to do this, we have set up at this level a table where we invite you to come and deposit a book that you have enjoyed and that you would like other people to enjoy, and in exchange, well, take another one. So it's a kind of book exchange that we hope will be as lively as possible and we already have a few books on it. So typically, if you haven't got the info and you want to participate, the stand will still be there tomorrow. Another important piece of information, we want to offer you a speaker and participant experience that is as rich and comfortable as possible. So, we have planned what we call a quiet room on the floor above, so it's a room that will typically allow you to be calm if you need to isolate yourself, to rest a little. So it's, it's mentioned on the plans that are displayed here, but also on the floors. So, a little disclaimer, this is not a meeting room, the purpose of a quiet room is for it to remain quiet, if you really need to isolate yourself for meetings, don't hesitate to grab one of the organizers on the fly, we are recognizable, we have magnificent flashy blue hoodies. And we will try to find you a quiet place.
[00:06:16]
And I hand over to Dimitri.
[00:06:19]
Thank you Anne. Uh, we have some small experiments underway, uh it's the first year, we're going to continue. Uh, I'm very happy to welcome Benoît, I don't know if he's in the room or not. There, there you go. Benoît Gantome who uh who works on the developer artisan podcast which has been online with podcasts for several years now. And uh we're experimenting with interviewing speakers and maybe other people in the room too, so he'll be in the in the meal part to do interviews with people. And mainly the speakers of the conference and you will find him online on artisan developer, I guess. Uh, thank you Benoît. Uh, we'll see what that gives. And we have another experiment with Yadz, so it's the Flokon box that we made 5 years ago for the first name game to try to find the very essence of the flow. So it's an experimental game that will also be on one of the tables in the cafeteria part to experiment, try to train you, the smallest possible game to make you understand and feel the flow. So come to the table, we're going to try to do some games around ten minutes to make you practice and also facilitate a quick training on the flow and give us feedback. So come, we'll be at the table and we have a lot of ideas and a lot of questions too.
[00:07:45]
Thanks to all the sponsors.
[00:07:49]
Uh it's very rich. Anne, we've already talked about it. But we're really, really happy to have all these sponsors who help us mainly finance all the speakers.
